A Vegetarian Diet Plan That Works
Defined Tag: Vegetarian Diet Plan. Cutting meat out of a diet has been a popular option for dieters looking to lose excess weight. However, the vegetarian diet plan only works if you are eating vegetarian foods that are low in calories. If you are interested in a vegetarian diet plan, there are a lot of possibilities and interesting food combinations one can create for all three meals of the day. Some possibilities during breakfast time include summer fruits, eaten in a bowl or made into a smoothie. Throwing fruits into a blender and mixing with skimmed milk can allow for some interesting and creative combinations using everything from chopped bananas to peaches and berries. Whole wheat cereal is another breakfast option when mixed with skimmed milk and topped off with fruits or berries. Instant porridge mixed with raisins or cinnamon and apple slices can be a delicious and warm breakfast, with of course a glass of naturally sweetened juice on the side. For lunch, the possibilities can be endless in a vegetarian diet plan. A brown rice salad with chickpeas, rice noodles, and fruit or veggie salads are all possibilities during lunch and can often be found in a workplace cafeteria. Soups, baked potatoes and wholemeal spaghetti with tomato and garlic sauce are all options in a vegetarian diet during lunch hours. For dinner, vegetable soups and salads with non-fat dressing make great vegetarian appetizers. For the main course, why not try ratatouille served with a baked potato? Well-proportioned wholemeal pastas with tomato sauce can be another option during dinner as well as tofu burgers, veggie burgers or bean burgers. For between-meal snacks, things like dried fruits, rye breadsticks and even popcorn are all great vegetarian options that will have you losing weight in no time. A vegetarian diet only works when the non-meat food you are eating is low in calories and fat content. Cutting out meat does not necessarily mean cutting out fat.
